If you can make a chain stitch and a single crochet, you can make the Unchained Wrap! It is super simple, and utilizes the beauty of variegated yarn to create a stunning piece that will make everyone take notice. For those of you who like charts, I have created one for Unchained, in addition to writing out the pattern.

Crochet Bathroom Rug - Free Pattern

This rug is made from soft cotton which feels luxurious under bare feet and soaks up any little spills. The spike stitches are placed to give the illusion of diagonal triangles (triangle spike stitch). As this pattern uses three colours you may prefer to cut off the ends – trying to carry them up the side of your work could lead to tangles.

Simple Crochet Flower

It is extremely plain and has just 4 petals, but that is partly why I like it. I know most flowers have an odd number of petals, but I wanted something I could adapt for a lot of uses…something almost square and easy to work up.
And as the pattern for the Flower Puzzle Ball was in need of a revamp, I thought I might as well post the pattern for the simple crochet flowers on their own.

Baby Blanket Afghan |
I love this pattern because the half shell is a fun stitch and the pattern is very forgiving. Mistakes are easily hidden and not noticeable and it works up quickly. This is my mindless pattern – I usually have two projects going at all times – one that needs constant concentration and precise stitches and one I can do while I’m watching TV or chatting with the hubby.

Are you ready for another crochet along!
We had so much fun with our Nesting Dolls CAL that I thought it would be great to try this blanket. And it is perfectly timed for you to finish in time for the holidays (think gift idea!). The Little Boy Blue Blanket is full of fun stitch work and color opportunities and was designed to especially compliment Lion Brand’s Heartland Yarn Collection (I’ve used it and it’s awesome … so extremely soft and the colors are beautiful!).

Lover's Knot Crocheted Scarf |
I saw this lovely image of a scarf on Pinterest using a very lacy stitch and I thought it was gorgeous. (I was also desperate to do something creative after several weeks of severe crafting famine thanks to sick children and a much too busy schedule.)
Hoooowwwwever, when you go to the blog on which this stitch is featured you will soon realize that the instructions are in...Dutch. Helpful for all of the Dutch-speaking crocheters out there, but for me? Not so much. After browsing around the internets I found some instructions for this stitch - it's called the Lover's Knot - and discovered that it was so fun and easy that I should make a tutorial.
